Love Meditation
can heal relationships with the positive, high vibrational energy of love. Love Meditations can also enhance your relationships by creating loving energy that dissolves barriers to communication, sex, deeper meaningful bonding, understanding and appreciation of one another etc.


What is meditation? 

Meditation is an altered state activity in which the brain reaches alpha-theta levels of consciousness. At this level of mind, your body, mind and spirit is strengthened and exist in harmony. Your intuition becomes more acute.

There are 2 types of meditation – active and passive.

Passive meditation: The objective is stillness and being free from thought. Or it may be to concentrate on a single point of focus or symbol. The brain can reach theta levels in passive meditation. At this level of mind, one is more receptive to suggestions but will not be able to generate thoughts or images for practical problem solving. Hypnosis fits into this category.

Active/dynamic meditation – The objective is to perform activities such as goal-setting, problem solving, enhancing creativity, enhancing intuition and self healing through guided imagery, at the alpha level of mind.  Active meditation tools can be used to achieve desired outcomes in the areas of career, goals, relationships and marriages.

Psychic Protection Meditation

Purpose: To protect yourself energetically prior to any altered state activity such as hypnosis/meditation.

Love is always the key to health and psychic protection. Any expression of non-love toward yourself will cause an imbalance that will make you more susceptible to these attacks. When you criticize or condemn yourself, express doubts concerning your decisions or actions, tell yourself that you are too fat, old or short, you are priming the pump for a psychic attack.

The most common form of spiritual shielding is in the form of a white light protection. In addition to protecting you against the influence of negative entities, these techniques neutralize distracting and uncomfortable subconscious and conscious thoughts and feelings about yourself and others.

Try the following psychic protection exercise:

  1. Relax, breathe deeply and imagine a bright white light located with your own heart. This light allows you to access your Higher Self.

  2. Mentally visualize this light vibrating at a rapid rate and permeating every fiber of your physical body.

  3. Each breath you inhale magnifies this spreading of this light throughout your body. This light becomes even more intense as you exhale.

  4. Keep focusing on your breathing and perceive a feeling of love and strength surrounding your body and merging with your aura.

To add to this effect of protection from outside psychic attack, practice the following approach:

  1. Relax, breathe deeply and surround your entire body with a white light.

  2. Perceive this white light taking the form of a thick shield surrounding your body, which immediately neutralizes and dissolves any negativity that attempts to enter your awareness.

  3. Use your breathing imagery described in the previous exercise to strengthen this shielding effect.

Purpose: To keep yourself focused and centered in your daily activities.

Purpose: To cleanse you of negative relationships/addictions that drain you of energy. To keep your life force energy in present moment.

 

Love Meditation - Block Clearing Meditation

Purpose: This meditation helps in clearing specific blocks in your energy field eg blocks to forming harmonious relationships. It also assists you in understanding the lessons that the blocks are serving to teach you.

Negative emotions that result from relationship difficulties cloud the aura and affect the body energetically. We operate less effectively under such circumstances. Energetic cleansing meditations not only serve to clear our bodies and auras but also infuse us with the soothing energy of love.

  1. Scan your body in any way that you wish: inner sight, intuition, feeling sense. Find the area of the body that you are most concerned about with the help of Source.

If you do not find a problem area, you can focus on something that is happening in your life right now that you are concerned about. Find the area in the body or life.

  1. Now imagine that feeling/problem in front of you. Look at it with your mental vision. What does it look, feel and/or sound like?

a.      Look

  • Colour: colour or black and white

  • Shape: Describe the figure

  • Depth: two or three dimensional

  • Size: large or small

  • Brightness: Bright or dark

  • Contrast: Well or poorly defined

  • Focus: Clear orblurred

  • Movement: Still or moving

  • Speed: fast or slow

  • Location: up, down, front, left, right etc

b.     Sound

  • Does it have a sound?

  • Verbal or non verbal: words or sound. If words, what is it saying?

  • Direction: Stereo or mono

  • Volume: loud or soft

  • Tone: Soft or harsh

  • Clarity: Clear or muffled

  • Pitch: high or low

  • Speed: fast or slow

  • Duration: continuous or discontinuous

  • Location: up, down, front, left, right etc

c.      Feeling

  • Location: Where in the body is it located?

  • Texture: large or small

  • Weight: Light or heavy

  • Temperature: Hot or cold

  • Movement: Still or moving

3.      Talk to the object.

-      What does it say to you?

-      What is the highest intention of the object? If, for instance, the object is about fear and its highest intention is to protect you, tell the object that you would like another form of behavior that is more suitable to achieve the same intention. Thank it for protecting you so far.

-      What are you to learn from it?

-      Is there anybody involved who is associated with the object? Do you need to forgive that person? If so, can you do that? 

4.    Now call upon your Source and with that Source, send the object as much love as you can. Watch it being bathed in golden light filled with love of Source. Watch the object dissolve. 

5.    Now call upon the Source to give you an object of healing. Bring it close to your heart and let it integrate into your being. What does the object represent to you? Ask Source any questions, if you like. At the end of it, thank Source for the assistance. 

6.    Now let the process integrate and bring yourself to the room.

Love Meditation - Unconditional Love/Compassion/Loving-kindness Meditation

Purpose: This meditation assists in developing our ability to love our spouse/partner unconditionally.

  1. Assume a comfortable position, relax and breathe deeply.

  2. First focus on all of the people and things in your life you love. Include  whatever/whomever you love eg partner when you first met them, pets, hobbies, favorite restaurants, music, movies, Spirit and so on. Select objects, events or people that you most resonate with. Magnify this feeling of total love.

  3. Now bring into this picture your spouse/partner as he/she is at the moment. Concentrate for a moment on your desire to be able to love your spouse or partner in the same manner as the first group.

  4. Create a feeling of love in your heart for your spouse/partner. This feeling of love may be visualized as a radiating bright white or gold light of pure and positive energy emanating from your heart.

  5. Accept your spouse/partner in this scene for who he/she is, with each of their faults as well as good points. Radiate out from your heart this bright light so that it both touches and surrounds every component of this scene.

  6. Say to your partner,

May you live in safety.
May you have mental happiness (peace, joy).
May you have physical happiness (health, freedom from  pain).
May you live with ease. (May the elements of daily life—work, family—go easily, not be a struggle.)
May my love become yours.
May you be fulfilled in all your desires.
May you be blessed.
May the light of Source/Spirit fill you.

Continue sending out this loving light and observe its effects on your spouse/partner. See how he/she is is transformed into a loving entity. Notice how the things you disliked before all of a sudden does not seem to affect you as much.

  1. Contemplate how you now have the potential to love your spouse/partner unconditionally for all his/her good points, as well as imperfections. Dedicate your consciousness to remove any aspect of your personality, such as impatience, anger, jealousy, insecurity, and so on, that stands in the way of this unconditional love. See each of them as physical blocks being removed from your energy field, as you affirm to yourself the following

    I now release all forms of impatience within me. I am becoming more and more patient.

    I now release all forms of anger and resentment towards my spouse/partner. I am becoming more and more forgiving and loving.

    I now release all forms of jealousy and insecurity in my relationships. I am becoming more and more secure and confident.

Visualize yourself as having taken on the positive traits you have affirmed for. Stay with this goal for a few minutes.

Love Meditation - Loving Relationship Connection Meditation

Purpose: Soul linking is a way to awaken your heart centers and express soul love or love from the level of your Higher Self to others. It is an important skill, one that you can use to evolve your relationships. Soul linking is a way of radiating love to people. Radiating love may feel as if you are "sending" love to others. However, you are not really sending love. Reception happens instantaneously through the principle of resonance. You might have experienced this when you were around someone who was happy, and suddenly you chose to feel happier yourself. The other person did not send you happiness; instead you began to resonate with this person's vibration of happiness.

1.   Close your eyes for a moment, and invite your spouse/partner into your meditation. You can soul link to evolve a relationship with someone special such as your spouse/partner, or with someone you have not yet met, such as a soul mate. Souls can link across time and space. 

2.   Imagine that your spouse/partner is in front of you. Let the image of your partner/spouse's body fade until you can picture his/her heart center as radiant light. 

3.   Connect to your Higher Self. Visualize your Higher Self descending through the crown of your head and completely merging with you. Your Higher Self may appear to you as bright white light or it may appear as a perfect replica of yourself etc. 

4.   Observe as your heart center aligns with that of your Higher Self, at the position of your physical heart. With this alignment, you might imagine beautiful, sparkling, shimmering, diamond-like light radiating from your heart center. Picture a ray of light coming out from your heart center and touching your partner's/spouse's heart center. You can use any image that feels right to you.

Some people imagine a ray of light connecting their heart centers. Some perceive a cord, filament, or narrow or wide band of light, or shimmering rays of light flowing out from their heart center to another person's heart center. You may detect ray after ray of light coming from your heart center out to the other person's heart center, or a steady beam. You may simply sense that your heart center is becoming so bright that the light coming out from it touches the other person's heart center. What is important is a sense of a connection between your two heart centers. I am using the image of a line of light as a symbol for a heart connection. Choose any picture or image that works for you to remind you to connect heart-to-heart when you are with your spouse/partner. And, it is fine if you do not use any image. Just sensing or having the intention to make a heart connection is all that is important for this first step of soul linking.

5.   The second important element of soul linking is to become aware of your soul and your partner/spouse's as you make a heart connection. As you do, you strengthen your connection to your own soul. You become aware that you have a soul connection to others that is even more important than your personality/ego relationship with them. When you connect with other people's souls, it is easier to do those things that honor their soul/Higher Self instead of being influenced by their personality/ego desires.

      Make a heart connection once again with your partner/spouse. Discover anything you can about how you sense your partner/spouse's soul. You may experience your partner/spouse's soul in various ways. You may feel more love, compassion, or peace as you connect with his/her soul. You may have a stronger experience of your own soul. You may notice more light. Detect everything you can about your soul connection and how it is different from your personality/ego connection. Allow your personality/ego issues to drop away and appreciate the light and beauty of your partner/spouse's soul. It is fine if you do not sense anything. The intention to connect with the other person's soul is all that is necessary for a soul connection to occur.  

6.   The final step of soul linking is to picture the Solar Light above both of you as you make a line of light between your heart centers. This brings the highest love and the light of oneness to your relationship. It connects both of you in higher purpose. It adds Solar Light to your interactions with each other, bringing more harmony, beauty, balance, and clarity to your relationship. Every moment you focus on Solar Light expands the potential for love between you. Thinking of the Solar Light above both of you as you soul link makes it easier to experience your soul and to radiate soul love.  

      Make a line of light between your heart center and the heart center of your partner/spouse. Note the Solar Light above both of you. Watch as a ray of light comes down from the Solar light, descending through your head center into your heart center, then moving out to your partner/spouse's heart center through your heart connection. Solar Light descends through partner/spouse's head center to the heart center, and then
out to your heart center.  

7.   You have formed a triangle of light between you and your partner/spouse. Solar Light is at the top of the triangle. The base of the triangle is the line of light between your heart centers. Solar Light is circulating through this triangle.  

      Although I have used the Solar Light as the higher light guiding your relationship, you may use any higher light that works for you. This could be a star, a high Being such as an  angel, Being of Light, Master, God, the Goddess, the All-That-Is, and so on. What is most important is that you are aware of a light that is higher than both of your souls, guiding you as you make a soul connection. The Solar Light harmonizes, balances, lifts the energies between you, and draws your attention upward to the light. You may want to work first with the image of the Solar Light above both of you, and later try other types of light to guide your relationship as you soul link.  

8.   As you soul link, you can evolve your relationships by inviting the Being of Love into your heart center. You can ask for this Being to be present to assist you in feeling or acting more loving. The Being of Love can assist you if you are in difficult situations, or need strength or courage to love-as your soul/Higher Self.

      Soul link with your partner/spouse again. Make a line of light between your heart centers, connect with the your partner/spouse's soul, and imagine the Solar Light above both of you. Invite the Being of Love into your heart center. Notice any changes as you do this. Imagine yourself loving, thinking, and acting as the Being of Love. Ask yourself, "How would I, as a Being of Love, express soul love to this person, who is my partner/spouse?" Let the Being of Love stimulate your ability to love with tenderness, wisdom, and compassion. You do what is loving and wise, not to comfort your partner/spouse's personality/ego or your own, but to empower them to grow and evolve spiritually - basically do what is in their highest and greatest good. 

Love Meditation -Tips on Soul Linking with your partner/spouse

  • You can intensify your broadcast of soul love with your partner/spouse in several ways. You can intensify your broadcast of love by feeling the quality of love you are radiating as completely as you can as you soul link. In addition, you can increase your radiance of love by emanating different qualities of light from your heart center to the other person's heart center. For instance, broadcast a smooth, reassuring, soft light through your heart center. Add a rose color. Make your heart light brilliant, or experiment
    with a pulsating light. As you increase the love you are radiating, you may sense a feeling of spiraling up—feeling more joy, light, and love. This is one reward of soul linking.
  • Do not look for specific outcomes or results to know if your soul linking is working. You cannot anticipate results, when they will come, or what form they will come in. Simply soul link and leave the results to Source and the Universe.

Love Meditation - To be done with a partner

Purpose: Maintaining love with your partner or children. It's is a beautiful way to nourish the heart centers and to restore peace.

1. Sit opposite each other, with a candle between you.

2. When you both feel relaxed and comfortable, send loving energies to each other (simply think warm, loving feelings about the other person).

3. Remember that this energy is unconditional; it is not sexual.

4. Imagine that you can see the energy flowing between you in a figure-of-eight movement between your heart centers.

  • symbols of love, symbols that represent a seal of love between you and your partner

- Meditate with a chosen crystal. Crystals amplify energy and would be extremely useful in meditation to enhance positive energies. Clear quartz crystals fit this purpose beautifully and moreover, they are cheap and readily available. When selecting crystals for the first time, choose one that gives you an overall sense of well being being when you hold it.
