Love Meditations

More love meditations:

- Access your God Meditation

- Wake Up Meditation with Partner

- Sexual Healing Meditation

- Lover's Holiday Meditation

Access your God Meditation

Purpose: Connect with Divine Power. Receive strength, answer and love from Divine.

1. Choose a religious image - statuette of Jesus, painting of Mother Mary, the word Jehovah in Hebrew script etc.

2. Sit comfortably in a meditative position with the image in front of you.

3. Look carefully at the image in front of you. Let it come in and out of focus. Try to keep your gaze still.

4. Now close your eyes and recreate the image in your mind's eye. Be as detailed as possible.

5. Open your eyes and gaze again.

6. Shut your eyes and recreate. You may want to do this several times. Eventually keep your eyes shut and contemplate the inner image.

Simple practice to align your energy with the Divine

1. Choose a piece of religious verse that appeals to you.

2. Now write your mantra deliberately, slowly, beautifully.

3. Write it over and over again; rhythmically and with focus. Pay attention to each word.

Wake Up Meditation with Partner

Purpose: To connect and align both your energies with that of Divine love and light, first thing in the morning.

Do this exercise as soon as you are awake and still lying in bed. You may do the visualization alone, if your partner is still asleep etc. This exercise is also helpful if you had an argument before going to bed. In that case, do the exercise before both before going to bed and in the morning.

1. Notice your breathing. Pay attention to how the breath comes in and out of your nose.

2. As you inhale imagine pulling golden light in through the top of your head.

3. Imagine the light flowing through with you with each inhalation - first filling your head, then your throat, then your chest and arms, your waist and finally your stomach and legs.

4. Imagine that you are shining with golden light, floating gently just above your bed and radiating beams of light. Imagine these beams of beautiful golden Divine light circling and encompassing you and your partner. Stay with this visualization for as long as your like.

5. If you had a disagreement of any kind, mentally send thoughts of forgiveness to your partner. Visualize you and your partner forgiving and embracing each other. Imagine yourselves surrounded with golden Divine light in your visualization, as well.

5. When you are ready, exhale slowly and open your eyes.

Sexual Healing Meditation

Purpose: Beautiful alignment of masculine and feminine energies through sexual intercourse. Strengthening of bond between partners both in and out of the bedroom.

Look of Love Meditation

1. Sit facing, just touching at knees or fingertips, and look into each other's eyes.

2. Start breathing in unison. Take deep belly breaths, through the nose first and then naturally.

3. Keep looking into your partner's eyes. Allow your gaze to melt in and out of focus. If attention wanders, bring in gently back to the eyes.

4. Visualize your partner's third eyes as a glowing light. Feel your own. Imagine these two points exchanging energy.

5. Gently touch the other's face. Focus on the touch - on the tips of your fingers and the sensation of your partner's skin. Take your time.

6. Stroke each other gently. You'll want to move around now, into whatever position that feels comfortable. The man should stroke the woman's right side first and the women should stroke his left. Put all your attention into the touch. Keep breathing in unison.

7. Now progress to full love making, or stop.

The Star Meditation

You may want to move on to full lovemaking. In the tantric star position, the man sits cross-legged and the woman sits astride him with her legs around his waist.

1. The woman should mount the man and allow him to penetrate her deeply.

2. Look into each other's eyes and breathe in unison. Without moving, focus on your first chakra, located at base of your pubic area.

3. Your chakra and your partner's should meld into one ball of energy - like a single red ball of fire, vibrating. Keep in this position as long as you can.

4. Gradually, you may feel energy traveling up your spine from your root chakra.

5. Allow this energy to flow through the top of your head. If it's not automatic, visualize the rising together.

6. When you're both ready, you may want to start moving. Keep it slow and focus in on every sensation. The goal of tantric sex is not orgasm, but union.

Lover's Holiday Meditation

Purpose: To anchor a romantic and tranquil experience that you and your partner can take home. To create a scene that you can revisit together in future meditations.

1. Choose a beautiful, tranquil spot and sit there together for a while. Look at everything around you in detail. Take your time to memorize each rock, each blade of grass, the way the water splashes into a pool or the sun filters between the pine needles. Absorb the place as much as possible visually. Drink it with your eyes. Breath it in with your lungs. Sniff it. Touch it. Listen to the sounds around you - birdsong, waves, cicadas.

2. Take your time because you are creating a scene that you both will revisit as a mental retreat when you return home.

In your meditations/visualizations together at home, you may revisit this scene and perform activities together. You can even do this when you are apart physically. This scene shall serve as a special spot for both of you.
